Measure a Twitch or Kick channel's chat engagement live: concurrent viewers, unique and active chatters, messages per minute, chat variety. The chat is read anonymously in your browser; nothing is stored, no account needed.

The 5-minute window needs to fill before engagement means anything. Keep the audit running; the recommended length is 45 minutes.

Viewers is the concurrent count the platform reports, asked every 30 seconds (Twitch Helix, Kick official API). Unique chatters are distinct accounts that wrote in the last 30 minutes; active chatters are those that wrote in the last 5 minutes — the strongest signal, because a bought viewer count does not write in chat. Messages per minute ignores the viewer count altogether.
Engagement is active chatters divided by viewers. Our tiers: below 5% low, 5–15% medium, above 15% high. They are thresholds we chose after watching the channels we track; they are not a platform rule and not an accusation.
Chat variety looks at the last 300 messages: how many are exact repeats, how long they are, how many different words they use. Real audiences are messy; a wall of identical lines is not.
The chat is read by your browser, anonymously — the same way our chat box overlay works. Nothing is sent to our server except the 30-second "is it live, how many viewers" question. Close the tab and the audit is gone.
