Twitch Username Generator

Looking for a streamer name? Type your word or leave it blank and let it generate game-flavored names; click one and it checks whether it's taken on Twitch and Kick instantly. Twitch rule: 4–25 characters, letters, digits and underscore.

Green: no registered user on either platform · yellow: taken on one · red: taken on both.
Is this name available?

"No registered user" does not mean "it's yours for sure": Twitch holds deleted or renamed usernames for a while, and some words are blocked. The sign-up screen has the final say.

What makes a good streamer name?
  • Say it out loud. In chat people will say "go watch X"; a name that's hard to read never gets mentioned.
  • Digits and underscores are a last resort. If "shadowknight" is taken, go "shadowknighttv" or another word, not "shadowknight_1998".
  • Same name on both platforms. Lots of streamers move from Twitch to Kick or stream on both; the check looks at both.
  • Keep the game out of it. Knight Online today, another game tomorrow; "koking" ties you down.
  • Twitch: 4–25 characters, letters/digits/underscore, can't start with an underscore; capitalization is display-only, the URL is always lowercase.
How it works

Generation happens in your browser: it mixes game, class, zone and general gamer words with your word. The check runs on our server: it asks Twitch's official API and Kick's channel endpoint "does this user exist". Nothing is stored; 30 checks per minute.
