How is the share calculated?

First deductions come off the net amount. Clan tax and carrier commission are taken as a percent of the net amount, not the gross. Custom deduction and reserve fund are fixed amounts. What's left is the distributable net.

Then the roster. Everyone's share is written as a percent and these percents work relative to each other. Example: 3 people at 100% makes a total of 300, everyone gets 100/300 of the pool. If one drops to 50% the total becomes 250 and that person gets 50/250. So a single person left at 10% still gets everything — what matters is the gap between the rates.

Every member's share is rounded down. So the total handed out can be a few coin short of the pool. We call that leftover the rounding gap. It goes to nobody, it stays in the bank.

1 full share is what someone at 100% gets. 1 half share is half of that. We write them separately so it's easy to say "who's full, who's half" while building the roster.

Tips
  • Put the drop's market price in gross value. You'll see the gap against the net sale.
  • Drop a member who came late or hit little to a 50% or 30% share.
  • If you set aside a cut for the clan bank, use the clan tax percent.
  • If you pay the carrier a commission, put it in the carrier percent.
  • Put one-off costs (scrolls, pots, prizes) in the custom deduction.
  • As you pay, set the status to "Paid". The time is stamped by itself.
  • When the distribution is done, save it to history. You'll have the record for the next argument.

A weight, not a percent of the pool. All members' percents are summed and everyone gets their percent's ratio to that sum. 4 people at 100% each get a quarter of the pool.

From the net sale. Gross value is only there to show the gap "what could we have sold for, what did we sell for"; it's not part of the deduction math.

Nobody. Since every share is rounded down, a few coin are left over in the pool. Usually 1-2 coin. Book it to the bank if you like.
