How is it calculated?
Gross income has three parts: coin dropped by mobs, junk items sold to the NPC and drops with market value. Drop income is summed per item as hourly count × unit price. With DC Premium on, coin doubles, NPC sales rise 50%, drops 30%.
Expenses are hourly and personal: Genie (pack ÷ 10 ÷ 2), Hammer (pack ÷ 30 × 2), mana pots (count × price), HP pots (count × price), 1 TS and 30 books if you're a Priest.
Net is gross income divided by party size, minus your own expenses. If your character is 8 or more levels above the mob, mobs drop no chests or coin, so net counts as zero.
When picking a zone
- Zones with heavy pot expenses can look good gross and fall behind net — check the net column in the comparison table.
- In zones with rare but pricey drops the hourly average misleads; over a short time you're very exposed to luck.
- If your character is far above the mob level, drop yield falls and stops completely at 8 levels.
- Find the mob's location in the mob guide.
