What do the table columns mean?
Location is the monster's X/Y coordinate in its zone. Open the map in game and walk to it. Respawn is the seconds it takes to reappear after being killed — a low respawn means you can farm the same spot continuously.
Resistance (F/G/L) is fire, glacier and lightning resistance in that order. High resistance cuts the damage of spells of that element badly; on a mage, pick which nova to use by looking at this column.
Defense reduces physical damage. At the same level, low-defense monsters are the better farm target for low-AP characters.
Practical reading for farming
- If HP ÷ respawn is low the monster dies fast and comes back fast — ideal for party farming.
- Monsters that spawn at several coordinates in the same zone are good for rotations.
- Monsters tagged Quest only spawn during the quest; they can't be farmed continuously.
- Set the level filter to 5 below–10 above your character and start there.
- To see where a monster spawns on the map, open the zone map.
