How does the tax work?

When an item sells from a merchant stall in Moradon, 3% of the sale is taken by the system; the remaining 97% goes to you. The tax is taken from the seller; the buyer pays the listed price.

That's why comparing your purchase price directly with the sale price misleads when asking "at what price do I profit". The break-even is not 3% above purchase but purchase ÷ 0.97 — roughly 3.09% above.

Opening a stall itself is free; the cost only shows up at the moment of sale. Sales by trade take no tax, but you have to trust the other side.

Practical notes
  • Calculated at 1 GB = 100,000,000 coin.
  • The TRY value comes from the best price the GB sells for on the server you picked (the sites' buy price).
  • Prices refresh from 10 sites every 5 minutes.
  • On big amounts the tax matters: a 10 GB sale loses 0.3 GB to tax.

For Moradon market sales the rate is 3% and doesn't change by item type. This tool uses a fixed 3%.

You type the net amount you want to pocket; the tool divides it by 0.97 to give the price you need to list at. Example: for a net 1 GB you need to list at about 1.0309 GB.

The coin amount is first converted to GB (1 GB = 100 million coin), then multiplied by the best price you can sell GB for on the chosen server. That price is the sites' GB buy price — what you'd get when selling. In a real sale, site commission and minimums can also apply.
