Yang, M and Won are three scales of the same thing
Metin2's currency is yang. Because the numbers grow fast, players use shorthand: M means million, Won stands for 100 million.
Won is not an item you'll find in the game. You won't see "1 Won" in your inventory; there is only yang there. Won is a unit used when talking about big numbers.
So if someone says "250 M" they mean 2.5 Won. If they say "half a Won" they mean 50 million yang.

How to work out how many Won your yang is
- Take the yang number in your inventory.
- Divide by 100,000,000. The result is how many Won you have.
- Shortcut: delete the last eight digits. 347,500,000 yang → 3.475 Won.
- If you want the TRY value, multiply that number by your server's current Won price.
Careful: some seller sites price new servers per M rather than per Won. If the product name says "1 M", the price you see is for one million yang; to compare with Won you have to multiply by 100. Our price table already does that conversion; every number there is per 1 Won.
Why a unit called Won exists
As the game's economy ages the numbers grow. When talking in millions got hard, players made up a unit that says a hundred million in one word.
The same thing happened in Knight Online with GB (gold bar), where 1 GB = 100 million coins too. The two games' scales match by coincidence; the currencies are separate and unrelated.
