Level penalty: the rule that hurts most in CZ
If your character's level is 8 or more above the monster's level, the monster gives you no boxes or coins. The Farm Calculator applies this rule and shows zero net for that slot.
Example: when a level 78 character goes to level 70 Evil Wizard the gap is exactly 8 and the penalty starts. The same character farms level 83 Boroo or level 100 Balrog just fine.
That's why in CZ you pick the slot by your character's level. The most profitable slot in the table can be zero income for you.
From which character level the penalty starts
| Slot | Mob level | Char level where penalty starts |
|---|---|---|
| Mastodon | 40 | 48 |
| Treant / Ancient Treant | 55 | 63 |
| Evil Wizard | 70 | 78 |
| Apostle of Cold | 70 | 78 |
| Bifrost (Pride / Glutton) | 75 | 83 |
| Boroo | 83 | 91 |
| Bowl (Atross / Riote) | 85 | 93 |
| Elite Pirate Number | 85 | 93 |
| Balrog | 100 | 108 |
| Deruvish Founder | 100 | 108 |
The penalty starts the moment you reach the level in the table. One level below you still get normal drops.

You don't wait for monsters in CZ
In our monster data, 724 of the 2,065 records are under Ronark Land. It's the most crowded map in the game.
Respawn times are short too. Evil Wizard has 37 spawn points and all of them respawn in 20 seconds. Stone golem 20 points 20 seconds, Dark stone 41 points 30 seconds, Balrog 20 points 20-30 seconds.
The exception is bosses. Atross and Riote spawn every 3600 seconds. You don't build a farm route around them; you kill them if you run into them.
How to work out your own CZ net
- Compare your character's level with the target monster's level. If the gap is 8 or more, pick another slot.
- Pick the slot in the Farm Calculator, enter your character level and party size.
- Farm for 1 hour. Count the drops and write them in the Hourly count column.
- Enter your own server's sale prices in the price column. The defaults are examples.
- Update the pot and Genie prices too. The cost row is personal, it isn't split with the party.
- Repeat the same measurement in a second slot and compare the per-person nets.
