Server choice directly sets the price
In Metin2 every server's economy is separate and there is no yang transfer between them. That's why the same Won can be priced several times differently from server to server.
The rule is simple: as a server ages, the total yang entering the game piles up, supply grows and Won gets cheaper. On newly opened servers yang is scarce and Won is expensive — so much so that sellers sometimes price per 1 M instead of per 1 Won.

What's the difference between the groups
- SAPPHIRE (Star, Safir): the newest group. It has its own features like permanent events and a 50% item drop chance, and a fixed event calendar.
- RUBY (Lucifer, Charon): carries permanent events. There's a 25% HP reduction on all characters except players and a special item drop bonus on flags.
- Türkiye servers: the classic servers. No special permanent bonus, events run on set days in the general calendar.
- Servers closed to entry: newly created accounts can't log in. If you're thinking of playing, watch those rows.
Servers don't close, they merge
In Metin2 servers don't close, they get merged into other servers. Fırtına, Lodos, Zephyr, Anadolu, Alesta, Bazalt and Apex are among the servers left in the past this way.
Even so, some seller sites still keep listings for merged servers. In our price table those servers carry a "merged" mark; you can check it so you don't buy yang there by mistake.
A merge affects the price too: when two servers' yang pools into one market, supply multiplies and Won gets cheaper.
Which server to buy yang on
You have no choice: you have to buy yang on the server you play, transfer isn't possible.
But if you're about to pick a server, price can be a criterion. On old servers Won is cheap, so the same money buys far more yang; in return item prices are that much higher. On a new server everything is expensive but the economy is fresh.
