The math is built on three inputs
The payback math needs three things: the premium's price in coins, how many hours a day you farm, and your hourly net income. No other input.
The order goes like this. Daily income = hours × hourly net. 30-day gross = daily income × 30. Payback day = price ÷ daily income. 30-day net = 30-day gross − price.
The math runs over 30 days. If the payback day is below 30, the farming you do in the remaining days is pure profit.
What hourly net income is and how to find it
- Net means what's left after expenses. If you write the gross income, the payback day comes out shorter than it is.
- Pot cost: 250 mana pots per hour × 5,000 coins = 1,250,000, 100 HP pots × 4,000 coins = 400,000. Another 200,000 coins per hour for the Transformation Scroll.
- If Genie is on, a 10-pack of Spirit of Genie goes every 2 hours. A 15,500,000 coin pack comes to 775,000 coins per hour.
- Genie Hammer is a 30-pack and 2 go per hour. A 5,200,000 coin pack comes to about 346,667 coins per hour.
- All added up, the default cost is about 2,970,000 coins per hour. Deduct that from your gross income.
- If you farm in a party, first divide the gross income by the number of people, then deduct the cost.
Hourly gross and net by zone (solo, DC off)
| Zone | Hourly gross | Hourly net |
|---|---|---|
| Eslant - Paramun | 25.9 M | 22.9 M |
| Eslant - Dark Knight | 20.1 M | 17.2 M |
| Eslant - Giant Golem | 19.4 M | 16.4 M |
| CZ - Evil Wizard | 14.3 M | 11.3 M |
| Eslant - Harpy Troll Berserker / Captain | 14.0 M | 11.0 M |
| CZ - Mastodon | 9.6 M | 6.6 M |
| Delos - Cave Leech (Worm) | 2.6 M | −0.3 M |
The numbers come from the site's 43-zone farm data. Fixed coins, junk income and expected drops were added, then the default cost above was deducted. Cave Leech goes negative because at that income the genie and pot cost doesn't cover itself.
Payback for someone farming 4 hours a day at 15 M net per hour
| Premium price | Payback day | 30-day net |
|---|---|---|
| 3 GB | 5.0 days | +15 GB |
| 5 GB | 8.3 days | +13 GB |
| 8 GB | 13.3 days | +10 GB |
| 10 GB | 16.7 days | +8 GB |
| 15 GB | 25.0 days | +3 GB |
| 20 GB | 33.3 days | −2 GB |
Daily income 60,000,000 coins, 30-day gross 1,800,000,000 coins, that is 18 GB. The moment the price passes 18 GB, premium doesn't pay for itself in 30 days. The price column on the left is an example; you'll enter the current price.
Do your own math
- Convert the premium's price to coins. If you buy it from PUS, divide the TRY cost by the GB price, multiply the resulting GB by 100,000,000.
- Pick your farm zone and find your hourly net. Don't forget to deduct pot and genie costs.
- Write honestly how many hours a day you play. Don't write "I'll play a lot if I buy it"; write how many hours you played last month.
- Divide the price by the daily income. If the number of days comes out below 30, premium is in profit.
- If it's over 30 you have two roads. Either you raise your daily hours or you move to a better-earning zone.
When it doesn't pay back
- If you log in 1-2 hours a day, most of the price goes to waste. Few hours means little daily income.
- Buying premium and spending the day in the market stops the payback. The math only works for the hours you farm.
- If you buy premium for PK, this math is useless. What you earn there is NP, not coins.
- If the gifts in the package like Trina and hammer have market value, deduct that from the price. When the price drops the payback day gets shorter too.
