What is Ultima's Dungeon?
In the story, Ultima has invaded the Bifrost map and you go into her lair. Your goal in the dungeon is to kill Ultima, but you first have to destroy the seal before she takes any damage.
It is a rotating event: it has no fixed calendar and runs for set periods. The latest run was announced on 17 September 2026.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | What you need |
|---|---|
| Time | Twice a day, 10:00 and 21:30 Turkey time |
| Level | 80 or higher |
| Ladder Points | At least 50 (monthly NP) when you apply and when registration closes |
| Room | Up to 30 players, pulled in the order they registered |
| New room | After 30 and each multiple of 30, at least 5 more players must register |
To be sure to get in, have 50 Ladder Points.
How do you enter the dungeon?
- When the time comes, register in the window that appears on your screen. You are pulled into a room in the order you clicked.
- Keep your Ladder Points until registration closes. For example, a player with 90 points dies once in Ronark Land, drops to 40 and cannot enter even though they applied.
- If one of the 5 players needed for a new room cannot enter because of missing points, the other 4 cannot enter either. Example: if 1 of 35 applicants is short on points, the first 30 go in; the remaining 4 and the one short on points do not.
- To back out, press "Cancel" in the countdown window.
What happens inside?
- Two minutes after you enter, Ultima and the seal structure appear. The game calls the structure the Center Artifact and says you cannot damage Ultima before you destroy it.
- The seal only takes fixed damage from the basic attack (R). Bow users have to take their bow off to hit it.
- You have 30 minutes to kill Ultima.
- Field ability: at any point Ultima uses a skill centred on whoever she is attacking, and the players around them take damage too. It can take 30% of your health, so standing right next to her target gets you hit as well.
Destroying Strike and the escape structures
When Ultima's health drops to 70%, 40% and 10%, she uses the Destroying Strike, which covers the whole map and hits everyone caught in it hard. The game warns you with a message when it comes.
The moment the strike starts, escape structures appear on four sides of Ultima with a coloured circle around each. The safe spot is exactly inside that circle, and you have 5 seconds from the start of the skill to get there. The escape structures cannot be damaged or targeted.
If nobody dies to a Destroying Strike, Ultima enters a Lethal State for 10 seconds and takes 1.5 times the damage. The game announces it with "Ultima is weakened for 10 seconds. Attack now".
Ultima's power
| Players in room | Health | Defence | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4–10 | 1,000,000 | 2,683 | 7,338 |
| 10–20 | 2,000,000 | 4,025 | 11,007 |
| 20–30 | 3,000,000 | 8,051 | 22,015 |
Rewards
| How long you lasted | Reward |
|---|---|
| Died before the first Destroying Strike | No reward |
| Survived the 1st strike, died before the 2nd | Ascent Scroll |
| Survived the 2nd strike, died before the 3rd | Fragment of Arrogance |
| Survived the 3rd strike, died before Ultima fell | Fragment of Gluttony |
| Finished without dying | Fragment of Gluttony and Fragment of Arrogance |
Players with a full inventory get no reward. A 30-day Lunar Tattoo can also come out of the boss box: the bigger your share of the damage to the boss, the higher the chance the box opens for you.
What do the rewards do?
- Ascent Scroll: raises the base EXP you get from killing monsters by 20% for an hour.
- Fragment of Arrogance and Fragment of Gluttony: fragments sealed with one of the seven disasters, and you can obtain a powerful item from them.
- Do not mix them up with the Dark Fragments in Bifrost; those are separate items (Bifrost guide).
