Knight Online Priest skills: how many points do BP and DB builds take?

2026-09-13 5 min read
Short answer

Priest has six trees and the most crowded is Blessing with 32 skills. The top skill of all three main trees needs 80 points, and at level 83 you have 146 — so you can take one tree to 80 and carry the second to 60. The build we call BP invests in the Blessing tree, the one we call DB in the Attack magic tree. Because Blessing has six separate thresholds between 70 and 80 points, the last 10 points alone unlock six skills.

Why Priest needs a different calculation

On Warrior the decision is simple: damage or endurance. On Priest there are three separate jobs — healing, buffing and weakening the enemy — and the three sit in separate trees.

The point rule is the same as the other classes. After level 10 you get 2 points per level, at level 83 you have 146 points, and the points you put in a tree can't exceed your character level. So an 80-point skill opens at level 80 at the earliest.

The difference is where the thresholds are placed. Priest's Blessing tree has six separate thresholds between 70 and 80: 70, 72, 74, 76, 78 and 80. No other tree has top steps this dense.

Priest's six trees

Tree Skills Highest threshold What it gives
Base 15 50 points First healing and light spells
Healing 25 80 points Healing and regeneration, from 60 to 10,000
Blessing 32 80 points HP and AC buffs, resistance boosts
Attack magic 23 80 points Debuffs, sleep, resurrection, damage
Extra 8 23 points Cheap passives and individually strong skills
Master 3 1 point Weapon master buffs, 1 point each

106 skills in total — Priest is the most crowded of the five classes. The comparison of all classes is on the unlocking skills page.

What do BP and DB mean?

BP: the Blessing tree

BP is the build where most of the points go to the Blessing tree. This tree gives two things: an HP boost and a defense boost, both as buffs lasting 600 seconds.

The HP side starts with Grace at 6 points with 60 HP, Hardness at 33 points gives 720, Massiveness at 57 gives 1,500, Imposingness at 70 gives 2,000, Superioris at 78 gives 2,500 HP. The defense side starts with Insensibility Skin at 3 points with 20 AC and rises to Insensibility Guard at 76 with 350 AC.

The resistance column is here too: Resist All at 9 points raises magic, curse and poison resistance by 20 while Fresh Mind at 45 takes the same three to 80. For a Priest carrying a party this column matters as much as buffing.

DB: the Attack magic tree

The DB build invests in the Attack magic tree and its job is weakening the enemy. Malice at 3 points drops defense to 75%, Slow at 24 drops attack speed to 70%, Torment at 57 pulls defense to 70%, Massive at 60 drops attack to 80%.

The same tree has control skills too: Sleep Wing at 30 points, Sleep Carpet at 51. The resurrection skills are here as well — Resurrection Of Love at 33 points, Of Grace at 42, Of Favors at 54.

At the top of the tree at 80 points sits Discountis: 3,840 damage, 960 MP, 60-second cooldown. That's the biggest damage a Priest does in one go.

Healing tree: what each threshold gives

Points Skill Healing MP
0 Minor Healing 60 10
9 Healing 240 20
18 Major Healing 360 40
27 Great Healing 720 80
36 Massive Healing 960 160
45 Superior Healing 1,920 320
54 Complete Healing 10,000 960
60 Group Complete Healing 10,000 (group) 1,920
75 Past Recovery 2,500 + 3,000 regeneration 1,200
80 Past Restore 6,000 regeneration 1,400

Complete Healing at 54 points splits the table in two: the previous step is 1,920 while this skill heals 10,000. The group version of the same skill comes only 6 points later, at 60. That's why most builds investing in the Healing tree stop at 60 points.

How far do 146 points go?

The top skill of all three main trees is at 80 points. Taking two to 80 at once needs 160 points; you have 146 — so it doesn't work.

The workable split is 80 + 60: you open one tree to the end, go up to the 60-point skill in the second, 6 points left over. Take Blessing to 80 and every top step including Counter Curse opens; stop Healing at 60 and you get Group Complete Healing.

The other way is 70 + 70. 70 points in Blessing opens Bless Of God and Imposingness, 70 in Healing opens Critical Restore. But you miss Blessing's 72-74-76-78 steps — stopping at 70 in that tree means leaving four skills behind.

That's why the decision is sharper on Priest than on other classes: if you went into Blessing, going all the way makes sense; leaving it half done costs you. Fixing a wrong split costs 79.5 million coins at level 83, and reset fees rise with level.

Top thresholds: how many points, earliest level

Points Earliest level Healing Blessing Attack magic
60 60 Group Complete Healing Insensibility Peel Massive
70 70 Critical Restore Bless Of God · Imposingness Subside
72 72 Massive Binder
74 74 Round Insensibility
75 75 Past Recovery Superior Parasite
76 76 Insensibility Guard
78 78 Superioris
80 80 Past Restore Counter Curse Discountis

Common mistakes when spending Priest skill points

  • Leaving Blessing at 70. There are four more skills at 72, 74, 76 and 78; the last 10 points alone unlock six skills.
  • Trying to take two trees to 80 at once. 146 points aren't enough, you need 160.
  • Ignoring the MP pool. Group Complete Healing needs 1,920 MP, Past Restore 1,400, Discountis 960 MP.
  • Skipping the cooldowns. Counter Curse waits 180, Discountis and Superior Parasite 60, Past Restore 120 seconds.
  • Leaving the Master tree empty. Three skills cost 3 points in total; Belief makes magic power 130%, Determination makes attack 130%.
  • Skipping the Extra tree. Its top skill is at 20 points; Elysian Web and Curse Refraction give something concrete for few points.
  • Testing the plan in game. Building the split in the skill planner is free; trying it in game and resetting is expensive.

Frequently asked

There are 106 skills that cost points and Priest is the most crowded of the five classes. They're spread over six trees: Base 15, Healing 25, Blessing 32, Attack magic 23, Extra 8, Master 3.

The BP build puts points into the Blessing tree: HP and defense buffs, resistance boosts. The DB build goes into the Attack magic tree: debuffs that lower defense and attack, sleep and resurrection skills. Because they're separate trees, opening both to the end at the same time isn't possible.

Complete Healing at 54 points and Group Complete Healing at 60, both heal 10,000. Because the previous step, Superior Healing, stays at 1,920, 54 points is the sharpest jump in the Healing tree.

Stopping at 70 loses four skills: Massive Binder at 72, Round Insensibility at 74, Insensibility Guard at 76, Superioris at 78. This tree has six separate thresholds between 70 and 80, so the last 10 points alone unlock six skills.

146. Points start coming after level 10 and every level gives 2: (83 − 10) × 2 = 146. The points you can put in one tree can't exceed your character level, so an 80-point skill opens at level 80 at the earliest.

In the Attack magic tree: Malice (3 points, drops defense to 75%), Slow (24 points, attack speed to 70%), Torment (57 points, defense to 70%), Massive (60 points, attack to 80%) and Subside (70 points, attack to 80%). On the control side Sleep Wing at 30, Sleep Carpet at 51 points.

Discountis at 80 points: 3,840 damage, needs 960 MP and has a 60-second cooldown. On the melee side, Helis in the Extra tree does 250% damage for 12 points.

The three skills in the Master tree cost one point each. Belief raises magic power to 130% for 30 seconds, Determination makes attack 130%, Whipping doubles run speed for 1,200 seconds. No other tree gives this much for 3 points in total.
