How much does a skill reset cost in Knight Online?

2026-09-13 2 min read
Short answer

The fee grows with your level. At level 83 a skill reset (reskill) costs 79,533,450 coins, a stat reset (restat) 53,022,300 coins — about 0.80 and 0.53 GB. Reskill is always 1.5× restat. There are two sharp jumps: 30 and 60. If you're going to reset, doing it before crossing those levels saves serious coins.

Reset fee level by level

Level Restat (stats) Reskill (skills) Reskill in GB
20 111,960 167,940 0.002 GB
29 396,000 594,000 0.006 GB
30 1,111,000 1,666,500 0.017 GB
40 2,954,600 4,431,900 0.04 GB
50 6,309,500 9,464,250 0.09 GB
59 11,076,400 16,614,600 0.17 GB
60 17,591,550 26,387,325 0.26 GB
70 29,711,550 44,567,325 0.45 GB
80 46,784,100 70,176,150 0.70 GB
83 53,022,300 79,533,450 0.80 GB

How the fee is calculated

The formula has two parts. First a base number comes out: twice the level raised to the power 3.4, divided by a hundred and rounded down. Then this base is multiplied by a factor that changes with level.

The factor has three tiers: 40 below 30, 100 from 30 to 59, 150 at 60 and above. The result is the restat fee. The reskill fee is exactly 1.5× that — so resetting skills is always half again as expensive as resetting stats.

Because the base grows a bit faster than the cube of the level, the fee doesn't rise linearly either. A restat of about 3 million at level 40 goes to 47 million at 80.

30 and 60: two sharp jumps

There are two levels where the factor changes and the fee jumps all at once there. Going from 29 to 30, restat rises 2.81×: from 396 thousand coins to 1.11 million. From 59 to 60 the rise is 1.59×, from 11 million to 17.6 million.

These jumps look bigger than the factor itself, because the base keeps growing at the same time. The two effects stack.

The practical result: if you're thinking of changing your build and you're at 29 or 59, doing it before crossing that level is cheapest. At the other levels in between the rise is gradual, so waiting is pointless — it only gets more expensive.

Reskill and restat are not the same thing

  • Restat resets your stat points (STR, HP, DEX, INT, MP) and lets you redistribute them.
  • Reskill resets the points you spread over the skill tree.
  • The reskill fee is 1.5× restat at every level; the two are paid separately.
  • If you do both together the total cost is 2.5× the restat fee.
  • A build change usually needs both — changing only skills and leaving the stats as they were is a half-done job in most cases.

What the fee is if you've done Reverse

The fee looks at your character's current level, not the highest level you reached. If your level dropped after Reverse, the reset is also charged at that lower level's fee.

That's a serious difference for anyone wanting to change build on the way back from reverse: the reskill that is 79.5 million coins at 83 drops to 26.4 million if you're down at level 60.

The numbers here are calculated from the game's own fee formula, not guesses. To enter your own level and see the exact amount, and how many TRY that amount is at the current GB rate, use the reskill-restat calculator.

Frequently asked

79,533,450 coins, about 0.80 GB. At the same level a stat reset (restat) costs 53,022,300 coins. Do both together and the total comes to around 132.5 million coins.

That's how the game's formula is built: the reskill fee is calculated as exactly 1.5× the restat fee at every level. The level doesn't matter, the ratio always stays the same.

The lower the level you do it at, the cheaper. Watch the 30 and 60 thresholds especially: doing it at 29 is 2.81× cheaper than at 30, at 59 it's 1.59× cheaper than at 60. At the levels in between the rise is gradual, so waiting doesn't help.

Yes. The fee is calculated by the character's current level, not the highest level in the past. On a character that has dropped to level 60, reskill comes down to 26.4 million coins — a third of the 79.5 million at 83.

They're separate operations and charged separately. You can do both in the same session but you pay both fees; the total equals 2.5× the restat fee.

The coin amount doesn't change, the formula is the same on every server. The only thing that changes is the TRY value of those coins: because the GB rate differs from server to server, the same reset equals a different amount of money on different servers.
